Boiler Room in NYC: Mike Dean Presents Travi$ Scott & A$AP Ferg
Last night we got turnt up at Boiler Room NYC hosted by Mike Dean featuring Travi$ Scott and A$AP Ferg
Hot, sweaty, and turnt-the-f*ck-up was the scene at last night’s Boiler Room event. The party which started out in a dark basement in London’s uber hip Dalston neighborhood, has grown to become a worldwide experience with the streaming series hosting parties in Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Paris and at festivals like The Warehouse Project in Manchester, teaming up with Red Bull Music Academy for Miami Music Week and also throwing a huge warehouse bash at this year’s SXSW Music Festival.
For the latest NYC installment, legendary producer and engineer Mike Dean opened up his home to industry folks for a night of intimate performances by Travi$ Scott and A$AP Ferg. That shit was epic. While drinks were consumed and cannabis was being blown into the air, things kicked off later than planned (okay we got there late) but shit, the DJ’s were still spinning, and its a hip hop event, big whoop want to fight about it.
Things started to jump off when the Owl Pharaoh jumped on the dining room table and performed hits “Quintana” and “Upper Echelon.” Afterwards Fergestein joined Scott on the dining room stage to perform their song “Uptown.” Ferg then went into his own hits with “Shabba” and “Work.” But the real highlight of the night was when Bay-Area rapper Chippy Nonstop jumped on the table and stole the show with her twerking ways. After two songs, Ferg was out and so was the booze, signaling it was time to get the f*ck out. This might be the most turnt up NYC has ever been before 10 p.m. on a Wednesday night, we can’t wait for the next one…
