Black Dave is Back and Blacker Than Ever On New Tape

Black Dave is Back and Blacker Than Ever On New Tape

NYC’s own, Black Dave is back with his new tape Stay Black. Dave spent the last year feeding the streets with new songs and videos to accompany them. Switching his subject matter up from conscious to party tracks to sometimes goofy, this rapper has flexed his skill set and garnered well-deserved attention.

With more eyes on him than ever, Black Dave comes out swinging with his newest release and a video to go along with it. On this 14-track installment, it’s evident Dave is more comfortable in his skin and in the booth as he flaunts a more polished flow. The content remains very personal and varied, with tracks like “Rap & Skate”, “Gone”, and “Dangerous.” To add to this ample offering, a couple of his homies fell through to lend their vocals to the tape with Lil Mouse and Meech (of Flatbush Zombies) appearing on the project.

In addition to Stay Black, he has presented his newest video. Directed by Jason Ano, his visual for the single “Muthafuck! My Enemies” draws inspiration from the New York’s cult classic “KIDS.” Dave’s own reality parallels some of the films aesthetics with his Big Apple upbringing and life as a pro skater. Peep the video and make sure to download the tape. Keep your eyes on Black Dave, he’s got a lot more in store. Stay Black.
