Banksy Bashes Government Surveillance

Banksy’s back. Earlier today, Banksy put up a brand new piece in Cheltenham, a large spa town and borough in Gloucestershire, England. Taking aim at government surveillance, the mural shows three agents in trench coats spying on phone conversations. The city may have been chosen for the work because it is where the GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters), the centre of the UK’s surveillance network, is based. While Banksy has not officially claimed the piece, it has all the signature Banksy hallmarks in style and execution. Check out images of the mural below.
