Two weeks ago, we shut down Webster Hall with our CMJ showcase (Shout out to GrooveShark). If you missed out, that sucks for you ’cause that shit was live! Don’t get it twisted though, the stage wasn’t the only place were the action went down. We caught up with the whole A$AP Mob backstage and chopped it up for a quick interview. Rocky, Ferg, Twelvy, Nast, Ant, and Yams told us about bad road experiences, studio pet peeves, and what they would do if they had 24 hours to live.
In classic hip hop fashion there was a lot of blunt smoke in the air and a bunch of jokes back and forth between the hundred man crew. You can also catch the mob run through their set and turn the place up with hits like “Shabba” and “Work.”
Shout out to Supra, Maker Music, Rocksmith, Karmaloop, Flat Fitty, and Top Dawg Music once again for the ill sponsorships. I, personally, want to give a big shout out to A$AP Mob for giving this young-get-money-blogger – Okay, I’m wilding out but don’t worry its fine – one of my first big interviews. You gotta love seeing dudes from the hood get in the game and put on for their city. Also check out our Ill Time with A$AP Ferg. Just for the record, the best line of the night has to be:
Imma sell my braids so my bitches can clone me, Imma live forever, holla – A$AP Yams
