No, Najee is not the smooth jazz saxophonist and flautist but you may have seen him in the New York Times reppin’ for Converse’s Rubber Tracks studio or heard his music on one of The Fader’s mixes. If you really know your stuff you might remember him from HBO’s Def Poetry Jam where he cut his teeth as a spoken word poet .
