Erick Arc Elliott is the backbone of the Flatbush Zombies and the architect of their sound. Though not as visible as fellow members, Juice and Meechie Darko, his production informs their dark, drugged-out yet turnt up aesthetic. But before he was doing southern rap-inflected beats for the Zombies he was rapping over Washed Out and now it seems that he’s back to doing solo work once again. “Hills and Valleys” finds an introspective Elliott soul searching in three movements. Check out his new track above.
