Attention Rappers: Tony Montana’s Mansion is for Sale
Too bad most of you won't have the money to pay for it.
If you grew up during the era of MTV Cribs, then you’re probably aware that many rappers have a borderline obsessive fascination with Brian DePalma’s cult classic Scarface— most notably Trick Daddy, who had custom Scarface blinds made for his crib. And what’s not love to about the film, with its excessive violence, profanity, and of course drug use? Luckily for all the aspiring cocaine kingpins out there, Tony Montana’s monstrous Miami mansion is now up for sale. Oh, except it’s not in Miami.
Located in Montecito, California, the “El Fureidis” estate encompasses almost 10 acres, while the house itself is nearly 10,000 square feet, which is coincidentally the size of about 10,000 New York City apartments. The property is currently on the market for $35,000,000, which rules out Trick Daddy and pretty much all the other rappers who’ve ever compared themselves to Scarface. What a shame.
It’s a long shot, but we’re hoping French Montana gets his hands on some Kardashian money and cops the spot, ushering in a new era of the Montana Mansion. Haaaaaaaannnh?!
