“All City” A Videotape by Henry Chalfant

Henry Chalfant, the man who brought us the era defining works “Subway Art” and “Style Wars” has dug in the crates for MOCATV and unearthed his shelved 1983 film “All City.” Produced in conjunction with Spank TC5 and young woman Chalfant only knew as “Snow White,” the film originally began as a TV program about hip-hop and youth culture but got shelved when it couldn’t raise  the funding. Enjoy this this blast from past and take note of the similarities between youth culture back in the day and in the present.
