Agenda is back in New York. And despite the biting winds and dump of snow on the streets of SoHo (thanks for that Janus), the kingpins of streetwear have turned up in force to showcase their wears and cop a look at the competition. Their weapons of choice? Killer sartorial style on the racks and on themselves – dudes were holding it down like Rocky during Paris Fashion Week.
On the first morning, all retailers were in high spirits, claiming the event was “busier than expected,” given the less than favorable weather conditions. Meandering through the space, we spotted streetwear stalwarts like HUF, Stussy, ALife and 10. Deep chilling on the top floor. Downstairs, revived labels like Cross Colours and new ones like Sabit NYC and Sacred Stitch chopped it up with would-be clients. On first glance, we saw some alternative camo (yes, more camo) at Sabit NYC and a mass of mesh at 10. Deep. Taking a note from the catwalks, there was a plethora of floral iterations throughout the showcase.
With a DJ spinning beats and beers to be snagged at every corner, Agenda is about to turn up. Ain’t no party like a streetwear party after all!
