Jeremy Scott has been hard at work in his new position of Creative Director of Moschino, but he’s been equally diligent with adidas Originals partnership. His obscure reappropriation of adidas sneakers has turned the world of athletic footwear on its head, with an eclectic list of designs under his belt. A plethora of new silhouettes have been introduced each season, but the iconic “JS Bones” have yet to see a new iteration. That is, until the release of the adidas x Jeremy Scott JS Bones “Multicolor.”
Not for the faint of heart to sport, the “Multicolor” Bones boast an upper comprised of loudly hued reptile print leather. Additional highlights on the shoe include gaudy glow-in-the-dark bone lace locks, as well as gold detailing on the adidas Trefoil logo. Color blocking of such eye-catching proportions can only be credited to a designer with talent like JS.
Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Jeremy Scott is redefining the shoe game. It takes some serious cojones to convince a major corporation that they should produce sneakers and apparel that appear more appropriate for cartoons than real life.
The adidas x Jeremy Scott JS Bones “Multicolor” is available at select retailers and online via the adidas webstore.
