Adidas‘ storied collaborations with Jeremy Scott have been flamboyant to say the least. It ain’t for the faint of heart to sport, an acquired taste certainly is a requirement, along with some serious cojones. That said, the Fall/Winter 2013 J. Scott lookbook dropped recently, with an eclectic collection that embellishes flashy prints and continues on the animal print wave that Scott’s previous lines are famous for.
For the ladies and gents, the collection features some trippy prints over track jackets, dresses, and full on get ups that are guaranteed to stir up some commotion when you step up in the party. The one pattern that sticks out the most to me isn’t the gaudy inverted chessboard look with or without the gold angel figures, the neon camoflauge, or even the floral patterns. Hands down it’s the pixelated look, simplicity is key after all. Well executed in black and white, the ensemble of the sweater and Wing sneakers sparks up nostalgia to a time when you were blowing cartridges to get your game on.
Love it or hate it, the Adidas by Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2013 collection is all up in your face so deal with it. Taste makers, hypebeasts, and celebrities alike will be on it. If you’re looking to switch it up on em and really make a statement with your look, then this Jeremy Scott collection will be available for purchase starting next week!
